This Card Tokenization and Recurring Payment Consent explains how payment card details are used for subscription activation, card-on-file functionality, tokenization and recurring weekly billing for the Quantalis digital analytical software platform.
By entering card details and confirming a free trial or paid subscription, the User gives the authorizations described in this document, subject to mandatory laws and payment scheme rules.
Payment card details are entered in the secure payment environment of an authorized payment service provider. The Company does not store the full card number, CVV or other sensitive card authentication data on its own systems.
The payment service provider may create and store a secure payment token or similar payment method identifier. This token allows future subscription charges to be initiated without requiring the User to re-enter full card details for each billing period.
A token is not the card number itself. It is a technical identifier generated and managed by the payment service provider or payment platform for payment processing and subscription management purposes.
By confirming the subscription or free trial, the User authorizes the Company and its authorized payment service provider to charge the selected payment method automatically for recurring weekly subscription fees until the subscription is cancelled.
The applicable amount, selected package and billing frequency must be displayed to the User before activation. The current weekly subscription packages are EUR 49, EUR 125 and EUR 149 per week.
After a 7-day free trial, the selected subscription will automatically convert into a paid weekly subscription unless the User cancels before the end of the trial period.
The initial card verification, initial payment, free trial activation or other first payment-related action may require strong customer authentication, including 3D Secure, depending on the card issuer, acquiring bank, payment service provider and applicable law.
Subsequent recurring subscription charges may be processed as merchant-initiated or recurring transactions where supported by the payment service provider, acquiring bank and card scheme rules, based on the User’s initial authorization of the recurring subscription arrangement.
To prevent abuse of free trial offers and unauthorized repeated trial activation, the Company may use limited identifiers received from the payment service provider, such as payment token, card fingerprint, masked card data or similar technical identifiers, together with email or account information.
These identifiers are used only for subscription integrity, fraud prevention, free trial limitation, billing management, legal protection and security purposes, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection rules.
The User may stop future recurring subscription charges by cancelling the subscription before the next billing date through the user account, where available, or by contacting the Company through the official support email displayed on the website.
Cancellation does not retroactively cancel charges already initiated or amounts already due for a current billing period, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
If the User requests removal of a payment method or withdrawal of card-on-file authorization, the subscription may be cancelled or suspended if no valid payment method remains available.
If a recurring payment fails, is declined, reversed or disputed, the Company may suspend or limit access to the Service until a valid payment method is provided and any outstanding amount is resolved.
The Company may retry a failed payment where permitted by the payment service provider, card scheme rules and applicable law.
The Company processes payment-related identifiers only to the extent necessary for subscription management, fraud prevention, free trial limitation, legal protection and accounting or tax compliance. The Company does not store full card details.
Payment service providers process payment transaction data in accordance with their own legal obligations, privacy notices, regulatory duties and payment security requirements. The User should review the payment service provider’s information where it is displayed during the payment process.
For questions about card tokenization, recurring billing, cancellation or payment method removal, the User may contact the Company using the official support contact details displayed on the website.
